When my wife and I made the decision to select Crest Hollow Country Club to host our son’s baptism celebration, we never believed that our experience would have been so memorable! These gentlemen are by far the most professional hosts that we have ever experienced. She was outstanding in the planning and execution of the wedding. Janet was always responsive, caring and expertly guided us throughout the complete experience. She made us feel very comfortable and eased our every concern. Eric Weinstein took over where Janet left off. He appeared to be everywhere on the wedding day. Eric also made us feel as if everything was taken care of and that all w had to do was enjoy the evening. He orchestrated the wedding seamlessly. He guided us throughout the event and kept us abreast of the timing of each phase of the wedding. Eric was wonderful. Joe K., the operations manager, made sure that we were totally satisfied and that all our requests were fulfilled. We truly felt very special and that our daughter's wedding was the only event going on. We are only sorry that we do not have another event to hold at the Crest Hollow at this time. To be honest we couldn't have done it without you, at least it would never have been as great a success as it turned out to be. Everyone had a great time: they were especially impressed with the organization, professional manner of your staff, the delicious and varied choices of food, and the rich and warm appearance of the country club. There wasn't a thing that I could say needed improvement, everything went off like clockwork. The recommendation you made for DJ, NYU entertainment was and excellent was an excellent choice. Rick, the DJ was very professional and his musical selections were especially discerning. He catered to our requests and his suggestions were very tasteful. I would also like to mention the Fine Arts Photographers. They were also a great choice of yours. All of us in the wedding party went to the Old Westbury Manor Gardens in the morning, before the ceremony to have our pictures taken in the beauty of the gardens. This was the suggestion of the photography studio and it was a great idea. We will be looking at the proofs this next weekend and I'm certain that the pictures must be beautiful. The photographers that came to the ceremony were very discrete and refined; they knew the proper etiquette of picture taking. From my first visit I knew this was the place. I was introduced to Eric Sauer (hope I spelled his name right). I felt God sent another angel to me. Up until the final moment he was simply the best. He gave me the best bridal attendant and Maitre' D. Of course the food was delicious and the drinks were perfect. My guests tell me when they made the turn to come to The Crest Hollow they knew they were in for something they have never seen before. From the moment of our arrival we were treated exceptionally. When the guests, the bridal party, the groom and myself entered the Starlight room we were overwhelmed with the decor. Though I felt like a princess all day it wasn't until I reached the Starlight room that I felt like I had entered a platinum style wedding. It was drop dead gorgeous. Everyone was amazed how beautiful The Crest Hollow looked. Thank you, thank you thank you, and more thanks. My parents were more than satisfied. Thanks Mr & Mrs Eric Robbins Dear Janet, Wow, what a Bar Mitzvah. Our son David's Bar Mitzvah (October 20, 2007) was fantastic. We couldn't have asked or anything more. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. Eric, our Maitre'd was so attentive that we never had a thought or concern. The moment we walked into the Crest Hollow Eric greeted us and immediately took care of a few table changes. He helped greet our guest and made everyone feel welcomed. While taking group pictures Eric helped round up our guests and made picture taking stress-free (he even brought food out to us). Eric was constantly there making sure all our needs were taken care of immediately. We could not have asked for a better Maitre'd. The entire staff was wonderful. From the wait-staff to the bartenders everyone was so helpful and attentive to all our guests. The food was great. People were raving about the cocktail hour and loved the main meal. Our guests had a ball with the chocolate fountain. Thank you for recommending that, it was a HIT. The room set up was great. Although we had many guest there was still plenty of walking room and space between the tables. No one felt confined to their table due to limited room near their seat. All in all, this was a wonderful party. We can't think of one thing we would have done differently. The Crest Hollow has always had a wonderful reputation and now we know why. Everything from initial booking of the party to the final minute of the party was handled in a professional manner, while making us feel comfortable and secure knowing we picked the perfect place for our son's Bar Mitzvah. It was everything you said it would be and more. In turn, it was everything that we promised our daughter that her wedding day would be. The food, the service, the bridal attendants, the Maitre D and very importantly "you" helped make this a day that not only the bride will always remember, very happily, but us as well. We applaud all of you. The only disappointment was the weather but even you could not control that aspect of the day (and I'm sure if you could, you would have). You are all very professional and at the same time very warm and comforting because as we all know, this is a very happy time but also a very stressful one. It could not have been more perfect, including the impression that Crest Hollow itself gives when our guests arrived. It really helps start the evening off on a very positive note. The phone calls have still not stopped coming in with raves about the entire evening with Crest Hollow was a very big part of. Most importantly, Lori and Dan said it was the best day of their lives and they enjoyed every minute of it. I have been to your Crest Hollow many times for business, but this was different, it was now my only child's wedding. My experience with everyone there has been exceptional. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by your professional and gracious Lynn. Your banquet Manager Mitch gave a wonderful tour of the Country Club. He made us feel as if we were going to be the only wedding that year!!! As the date of the wedding went into 2007, I was introduced to Eric Sauer, Banquet Manager. He was the person who would now guide me gently through the maze of planning a reception, not any reception but the type of party that my daughter and I dreamed of having. I can't praise him enough. He made sure every detail was in place. My confidence level was so high because I was so comfortable with him. I knew he would make it happen. You should be applauded that you have an employee on your staff with the experience, attention to detail, and high energy of Eric. I am a professional person and my expectations were high; Eric met every request. He was congenial, courteous and professional. The team that was put together for my daughter's day was extraordinary and brilliant. Rich, our Maitre'd was wonderful. The timing and advising me of everything was great. He was very low-key and precise. Sandy assisted my daughters needs in every way, she is fantastic. My guests are still calling to say how amazing the cocktail hour was outside! Many of our guests told us this was one of the most enjoyable weddings they have ever attended. From our perspective everything was totally smooth, without a single glitch. I am sure there were many things that needed your staff's attention during the day but they made it look completely smooth to us. We would like to particularly thank Francisco, our maitre-d' and Jennifer, who took care of all our needs during the course of the affair. They both gave us a sense of confidence that everything would be taken care of, from the time we arrived in the morning to helping us pack up at the end of the day. For example, we had two last-minute guests whom I told Francisco about during the cocktail hour. There was only one table I felt comfortable putting them at, so Francisco had the round table replaced with an oblong table to accommodate the additional guests. We were very appreciative of how quickly he made the change. Jennifer saved the day for my daughter, Michele, whose wedding gown had a difficult bustle. Michele was very nervous about tripping on her gown at the reception and Jennifer made sure the bustle was correctly in place. Jennifer was always around to take care of the countless details that needed attention. We will be sure to recommend the Crest Hollow to our family and friends to celebrate their most special occasions. From the start, I was quite skeptical about how such a large catering facility would tend to all the details and how personalized the service at our affair would be. While we had certainly had other large catered parties they had always been in places where our party was the only one that day. Now that our party is just a beautiful memory, I wish to thank you and your staff with all my heart for the most perfect affair anyone could want. You may not believe this but...we are still receiving phone calls from some of the out of town guests who attended the party! Our friends and family called our home for days after the affair. Many people said it was the most beautiful Bar Mitzvah they had ever been to. I know that you and your staff played a major part in making our sons Bar Mitzvah affair so very special. From the very beginning I had some definite ideas of what I wanted and didn't. You always worked with me and my husband, making sure that we were really pleased with every selection. Many of your suggestions were excellent and many of the menu selections were outstanding including the sushi station and the seasonal fruits. It was a lovely menu with many saying it was very fine dining. The visual set up of all the food was magnificent and the service was magnificent throughout. Many of the guests commented on how helpful the staff were and how accommodating. You and your staff made sure we were comfortable at all times and went out of their way to make our son and the rest of our family feel very pampered and special.
